COMPASSIONATE MINISTRIES
Habits, circumstances, and rebellion can create hardships for families and communities. Compassionate Ministries has the desire to help the less fortunate by providing a way out.
Scriptural Vision:
“As a prisoner for the Lord, then, I urge you to live a life worthy of the calling you have received. Be completely humble and gentle, be patient, bearing with one another in love.” Ephesians 4:1,2
The book of beginnings, Genesis, shows a loving, creating God desiring fellowship. Sin destroyed that and work by the sweat of our brow was introduced. Since then man has had learn to love or at least respectfully treat work as a necessity for life. Not all learn this and Compassionate Ministry at Mountain View is engaged in helping those in need to grasp this vision.
Compassionate Ministries strives to fill needs, point to employment, engage in conversations or classes that better the needy, and at all times remain confidential.

MINISTRY DIRECTOR
Ron Clark is our Compassionate Ministries director. He has attended this church since 1974. What was his drive for this ministry? He was involved with a group of men who met each week to pray, read God’s Word, confess their shortcomings, and support each other. For three years they prayed for revival in the church. Then God directed them to put these prayers to work. In 1988, he went to his pastor and formulated a Compassionate Ministry. He has been married to his wife, Bertha, for over 50 years and they have had great involvement in the church.
